We kid not.  Thanks to the newly revamped Hubble Space Observatory,  we’ve got a hi-res picture of Andromeda (you know, that little neighboring galaxy only 2,538,000 light years from Earth) taken in January 2015.  The full size image is about 60,000 by 22,000 pixels, a total of 1.5 billion pixels. That’s about 1,000 times the resolution of regular high-definition. You would need more than 600 HD television screens to display the whole image.  Below is a cropped version of the full image and has 1.5 billion pixels.   The REAL full 4.3 gigabyte picture can be downloaded from the Hubble web site.
